Tracy Stanley - Service Provider/Visiting Teacher

Kia ora, my name is Tracy Stanley and I am the service provider/visiting teacher at Peek-a-Boo In Home Childcare. I have worked in the Early Childhood Sector for over 16 years and I have a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood along with a full practicing certificate. I have a passion for in home childcare and I believe a home environment supports children to grow up as competent and confident learners.

I am proud to provide an in home childcare service which offers quality care and education by educators who share a passion for in home childcare.
As the service provider and visiting teacher, I aim to build trusting and effective relationships with all families, children and educators. I will work closely with educators to ensure children in their care are treated with respect, supported and encouraged to take risks and challenge themselves within a safe environment while being nurtured and responded to in a fun and stimulating setting.
Educators will be empowered to provide environments that are responsive to each individual child and supported to weave Te Whaariki into their programmes for children.

Emma Anderson - Visiting Teacher
Hi, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Emma. Anyone who has known me from a young age has not been surprised that I became an Early Childhood Teacher. Caring for and teaching children has always been a passion of mine. While camping with my family, from about 7 years old, I would gather all the young children up, care for them, take them for walks and get them to sleep. I spent my school holidays working in an Early Childhood Centre... my dream came true! This led me to gaining my teaching qualification. 

I have taught in many different sectors of Early Childhood and I have gained a lot of knowledge from this. Relationships are extremely important to me and I am happy to share my knowledge and skills with you. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. 

Trace Stevens - Visiting Teacher
Hi, I'm Trace! I have been working in the home-based childcare sector for almost 10 years (previously in childcare centres).
I am passionate about ensuring our babies and children experience strong, trusting attachment relationships with key adults in their lives in small group setting. I believe this should be paired with a warm, familiar, settled environment where they can grow and learn at their own pace, supported by an Educator who knows their needs, likes and dislikes. 

I love meeting and working with Educators, children and families and love to talk to anyone about how amazing home-based childcare is!
