Peek-a-Boo In-Home Childcare Supports Families to Access Quality In Home Care and Education for their Child
Peek-a-Boo In Home Childcare will build a respectful relationship through open communication between you, your child, your chosen educator and Peek-a-Boo which creates a partnership involving trust, understanding and support.
We believe children learn best in inviting and supportive home environments where their needs, interests and developing skills are responded to by educators who are nurturing and encouraging.
Peek-a-Boo In Home Childcare encourages family involvement in your child’s learning. We believe it is important to work together to ensure the interests and developing skills of each child is met through planning and facilitating further opportunities at home and in the community.
Low ratios of one adult to four children (maximum of two under two year olds) ensure children receive the care, attention and support they deserve while in the care of your chosen educator.
Your chosen educator will receive the support and guidance of a qualified visiting teacher who will visit your educator regularly. Peek-a-Boo educators and visiting teachers will work with you; the family/whanau to ensure your child receives the best care and education.
All children receive a journal which your educator will complete daily. In this you will see snapshots of learning and development, magic moments, photos and art work. Your educator may complete online learning stories which document your child's interests and are able to be shared with family and friends.
All Educators have a current First Aid Certificate, are Police checked and provide a safe environment for your child to explore, create and discover.
Peek-a-Boo In Home Childcare provides flexible and affordable care. WINZ and Peek-a-Boo subsides may be available and the 20 Hours ECE programme is available to children who are aged 3 and 4 (up to 6 hours per day).
